It was a rainy day in Dallas yesterday. NBC Southwest Bureau called to assign me to shoot with Today Show's Matt Lauer for four days starting Sept. 25th in Austin and Houston. Don't know what the story is about yet.

My Tahoe is leaking water around the windshield. I took it in for the second time AFTER the windshield replacement this morning. By mid-day, it was clear that it was still leaking and dripping water onto the amateur radio transceiver and the XM Satellite receiver I have on the transmission hump. Crap! I have to take it in again on Monday, but now NBC has called to send me to Austin on Monday to cover the state legislature.

Crap! NBC has cancelled the Austin shoot!

Well, it's OK now. A few minutes ago NBC called to put me on a live-shot for the Sunday Today Show from Baylor. We're doing the mom who gave birth, without fertility drugs, to two sets of identical twins!

I've decided to shoot a video called "Introduction to Square Dancing" with my father-in-law Lee Kopman in October. I proposed that we shoot this video and market it on eBay. I'm following the example of a friend who produced a video on restoring antique table-top radios and he sold a boatload! In the world of square dancing, Lee is Elvis!
